Happened to me too. I was in the gym 24/7 and I got a virus called Myocarditis. Inflammation in my heart. Almost killed me. Still recovering from it. Haven’t been able to do the stuff I used to in the gym, sucks.

I also get EBV flare ups especially when im sick. Last time it was so bad was when I had rmsf.

Back in April, I got sick after going to the gym for a couple weeks. I’m not saying the gym triggered it but now I’m scared to go back cause when I tried to go back I started feeling ill again:/

if it makes you feel any better this happened w me too! i was training , hit my peak/dream body finally, just for 2 months later to lose 20kg unexpectedly and become a weak noodle. got diagnosed w endo, no cure not even surgery helped. i struggle to put on 2kilos now. i keep gaining and losing the same 2 kilos actually. anyways my advice is even though its so shit, the time is gonna go pass anyways. keep eating, keep training , to the max you can. or you’ll regress even more and become more mentally depleted. i wish i didn’t become a victim to my situation years ago. i’m dealing w it all now. don’t let that be you. get into therapy if need be, vocalising all your thoughts will help. chronic pain has a weird way of building up both physically and mentally . i wish someone had told me this when i was at your stage

I reactivated my ebv during a move once broke out in hives my lymph nodes in my armpits swelled I got a sore throat for a month!!!! You just gotta rest and get better! It sucks. I have to be very mindful of managing my stress levels.

my mom had it and passed it to me so casually as a young teen and I never really even knew until recently and I'm struggling so bad at 31 and wonder if it's ebv 😔

Ughhh same !! 😭 I was so healthy and was toned then BAM EBV I think I conquered it hasn’t came back thankfully but I’m all weak and have other issues now so idk if I’ll ever be able to go back to where I was 🥺

I had mono bad in high school and another bout in college and my throat was so swollen I couldn’t even swallow spit. I was hospitalized for one of them. Truly is so fucking brutal
