@seven7news: 🐼 The pandas have landed. Giant pandas Ping Ping and Fu Shuang touched down at Hartsfield-Jackson this morning on the FedEx “Panda Express,” a nonstop from Chengdu, China, to Zoo Atlanta. Ping Ping is a 6-year-old male. Fu Shuang is a 5-year-old female. They’re here on a 10-year conservation loan, bringing pandas back two years after Lun Lun, Yang Yang and the twins returned to China. They go into about a month of quarantine with no cameras. The zoo hasn’t set a public date. Zoo Atlanta is now one of three U.S. zoos with giant pandas, and the only one in the Southeast. 💚 #ZooAtlanta #GiantPandas #Atlanta #Channel7News

I’m honestly so happy the pandas are at Zoo Atlanta! 🐼❤️I’m glad China decided to loan them to the U.S. again, and I really think Atlanta is the perfect place for them. I’ve been to several zoos around the country, and Zoo Atlanta is still one of my favorites. It’s always so clean, well kept, and the animals are very well cared for. So happy to have pandas back in Atlanta! 🐼
