This one got me. After living outside of the country for 3 1/2 years in the 90s, Europe, and South America, then returning to the United States, I TOTALLY felt like this, but couldn’t explain my feelings because that was the height of ‘we’re the United States, the best country in the world’! Honestly, to this day, I still kind of do.
