The comments are really disappointing lol. First of all, yes it’s the bare minimum for a man to want to take care of his children. BUT, (and I know this personally because my husband is an anesthesiologist working these cases too haha), 60-80 work weeks are EXHAUSTING. They’re not the same as a 9-5 spouse. My husband has done a 30 hour shift with no sleep and then came home as a zombie after nearly losing a patient and dealing with devastated family and tried to be engaging with our little one. It’s okay to praise her husband. Also, someone said they don’t come home in scrubs. Yes they do 😂 this isn’t grey’s anatomy. We wash them at home. So just remember when these physicians are giving up way more time at home with their families, to save yours, maybe we can have an ounce of grace for the spouse in the background supporting them and not post silly comments.

All the scrubs comments are crazy - he took the dirty ones off and put clean ones on to come home. It’s easier to just go home in scrubs than bring a change of clothes to work every day. He puts on new scrubs before surgery - repeat everyday

My husband has always been like this. Our son is 17 now, but when he was little, my husband couldn't wait to get home and see him/us. He never acted like it was a chore to spend time with him, or take care of him. He was always telling me to go hang out with my friends, or go do something for myself. He looked forward to it. He still loves spending as much time with us as possible.

Never let these miserable people stop you from showing appreciation towards your husband or family 💗 you married right!! A lot of these “bare minimums” don’t even get that, they just like to spread their misery

Woman come home from a full day's work, cook, clean, take care of the kids and husband and there are no videos of them. No cheers. No adorations. But a msn comes home and sits next to his kid and y'all go wild. 🤔 It's the bare minimum to want to see and spend time with your kids.
