@hollarootrite: Not all dirt is the same. Courthouse = justice, crossroads = roads, prison = confinement / limiting. Limiting dirt belongs in a jar, lid tight, contained and warded. Mine lives with crystals on top, in a warded box not where we sleep. Same rule I teach, bowls flow, jars limit. I only collect from public access, never trespassing. If you can't get it legally, use courthouse dirt from the sidewalk, same limiting job. #folkmagic #conjure #witchcrafttips #witchcraft101 #dirtwork

would dirt next to a railroad have specific properties?

I like jars (especially small ones) for the mobility/how easy they are to carry and bring with me. What do you suggest instead?

XCodeNameReggieX :

I was visiting an old cabin in the mountains as a teenager, my grandma grew up on that mountain and I had visited as a kid. I took a small piece of board from the porch to keep for memories. I didn't even think about the fact that the owner was my great uncle, mean man. let me tell you, several things went wrong and the energy was heavy, I didn't make the connection until weeks later. I realized that I didn't take a keepsake, I pissed off the old man! I left the board at a gas station car wash - immediate energy shift. from the stories, he was beyond cruel and abusive. as an adult I would have kept the board and had our women's revenge, but at the time it scared me.
