Mohammad :
I am an English teacher in Iran and ۰ translated some of your poems into Persian.
Your poetry is filled with deep meanings, thought-provoking themes, and poetic emotions that captivate every reader. I have also translated many works by Iranian poets into English, and your poems are so beautiful that they are beyond description. Here, I would like to present you with a translation of a poem of Iranian poet which I have translated it into English and if you honor me, I would be delighted to offer you more translated poems in the future.
Respectfully,
Mohammad Heidari from Iran
Dedication to you
The poem Alley)
Without you, on a moonlit night, I passed again through that old lane.
I became all eyes, staring, searching for you in vain.
The longing for your sight overflowed the cup of my soul,
I became that mad, lovesick fool, once again whole.
In the hidden chamber of my heart, the flower of your memory bloomed bright,
A garden of a hundred memories smiled,a scent of a hundred memories took flight.
I remembered one night when we passed through that lane, side by side,
We unfolded our wings,in that beloved solitude, we would abide.
For a while,we sat by that stream,
You,with all the world's secrets poured into your dark eyes' gleam,
I,utterly lost in the vision of your gaze, it seems.
The sky was clear, the night serene,
Fortune smiling,time, tame and keen.
A sheaf of moonlight had spilled into the water,
Branches raised their hands to the moon's daughter.
The night, the plain, the flower, the stone,
All in love with the nightingale's song, alone.
I remember you told me:
"From this love,you should flee!
For a moment,on this water, gaze thoughtfully.
Water is the mirror of fleeting love's art,
You,whose gaze is now anxious, from one look to another may depart,
Be tomorrow, when your heart is with another,
So you may forget, for a while, from this city, wander!"
I said to you: "Beware of love? I know not how!
To travel away from you?I never could, not now,not now
