chem 1 is definitely easy. the back half of chem 2 and organic chem is definitely very hard. especially since you really need to have a good understanding of material since it all compounds. chem 1 is plugging in simple formulas/ equations. organic chem has a lot of 3 dimensional visuals and multi step equations. u gotta change the way u think. 😭

for gen chems i think a lot of it just comes down from the fact its a ton of info to study for and its just hard to study along with your other classes especially when attendance is mandatory

I failed the fuck out of chemistry 2 when I first took it in college and now I'm retaking it this semester, due to it being a different instructor, I have a 99 in the class and it's my easiest class now.

chem is honestly not very difficult once you understand what's going on. The difficult thing is learning how to do all those individual equations and units at once. Its a TON of material for each exam, but as long as you set aside the time to truly learn it then youre golden.
