@nycguideforeveryone: You can walk Pier 86 and get up close to historic aircraft for FREE? ​🎟️ TO CLAIM YOUR FREE "PIER PASS" ​Walk up to the main ticketing area/box office at the entrance. ​Ask the agent for a "Pier Pass". ​They will hand you a free ticket right on the spot—no questions asked! ​🚢 You'll have access to walk the entire Pier 86, enjoy the riverfront views, relax on the deck space, and see amazing historical military aircraft displayed outdoors that's in the upperfloor (as seen on the video) ​Closed-door exhibits, going inside the Growler submarine, or entering the interior sections of the ship/Space Shuttle Pavilion ARE NOT INCLUDED (these require full museum admission). ​🗓️ ​This free Pier access is available 7 days a week, 365 days a year. It operates in the winter too!
