@user4361573598781: Most people look at this painting by Leon Katz and see only a monumental miracle: the parting waters, Moses with raised hands, and a column of people receding into the horizon. But few stop to think: why do these very events form the foundation of the main autumn festival — Sukkot? At first glance, the parting sea looks like the climax of an escape. In reality, it was only the beginning of a 40-year journey through a harsh desert. To survive that endless trek, the Israelites built temporary huts (sukkot), enduring heat, winds, and total uncertainty. The holiday of Sukkot reminds us of these fragile shelters, teaching us that true security lies not in solid stone walls, but in constant movement and trust in life. ##LeonKatz #LeonKatzExodus #LeonKatzArt #LeonKatzPainting #Exodus
