I’m just astounded that she felt she needed to only text her friends words and no emojis or punctuation that could make the message look ‘flirty’ 😳 if you have trust in your marriage then you should be able to interact with any friends of any gender in the same way and your spouse not mind.

I lost a friend (male 25) because he gave a ride to a friend (female 21) of ours and his fionce made a scene! She called him during the drive, he picked up on speaker and she yelled at them both! He did not defend our friend. Also, after, his fionce texted my friend to say more shit to her. I’m sorry but if you don’t trust the man you are with to give a friend a ride, WHY ARE YOU MARRYING THIS MAN? So now we are no longer friends because he proved he is just a spineless coward! We already deslike her (they also got together waaay to quickly, less then a year and they are engaged) so that was just the final nail in the coffin

Dude I have friends that are men, hang out with them 1:1, and neither my husband or their SO’s have issues with it! My husband has friends that are women, and while he typically doesn’t hang out with them 1:1 bc I can usually go with, I wouldn’t mind if he did. I know that this doesn’t work for everyone’s relationships, but something as innocuous as an invitation to a birthday party is crazy!
