You guys looked spectacular up there. I don’t care what anyone says, that win belongs to you.

I'm almost 50 years old. I grew up watching the VMAs. I stopped watching about 15/18 years ago because the network just wasn't the same anymore and eventually I got rid of cable all together. I was traveling over the weekend and was staying in a motel room, scrolling the channels, when I scrolled past the VMAs. I thought "Meh, there probably isn't much on so I'll go ahead and watch it. Could be fun 🤷" Your performance was vintage MTV at it's very best. For those few minutes I sat on the middle of the motel bed and felt like I was 15 years old again, sitting on my twin bed in my childhood bedroom. You all did something special. Carry that with you, forever.
