genuinely it's so rigged, madonna won awards that she didn't even deserve bc she only released one song this year, it's rigged. the new artist should've been cortis as well, ariana and the other pop artists should've gotten something but ofc fucking madonna won that. the new artist was not even that new either, she doesn't have a big fan base compared to coers. ridiculous it is that they lost to her, their icons and it's most likely bc she performed and cortis didn't which is stupid as fuck bc it gives the artist a boost to show their own talent while the others get left in the dark. matter of fact, like all award shows do that is technically racist, they ignore most of the asian pop or kpop wins and categories and don't broadcast them. main reason why bts made aliens btw. this is insanely rigged.
