This makes me want a post-apocalyptic pokemon game, where there was a "main character" before us who failed to stop the evil team/legendary pokemon and now our MC is dealing with the fallout and tries to fix things

Which is why Leon’s role trying to keep the kids safe is so awesome to me. And even the themes about people worrying about the future, either Marie worrying about the future of her town, Hop worried about his future with his life in his brothers shadow, Leon always worried about the future kids who look up to him when he feels to weak to fix things even as the strongest champion, Rose worried about a future he cannot ever see because it would lead to the end of his region in a 100 years. He will never see that end but he wants infinity. He wants eternity. He wants Eternitus. But in the end all good things come to an end and you have to leave the future to the next. Leon finally loses and now can let go of that burden, Hop gives up on trying to out do his brother and instead finds his own path. And us? We have nothing in our past or future holding us back, and so we shall wield the weapons of the hero’s and go against the infinite idea of darkness, because life loses its path with eternity…

imagine how our character had too suffer and be traumatized at such a young age and they were all almost not even teens I feel sadder with our character at legends Arceus because not like the others our character in that game can't see there parents and were forced too fight the devil as a child
