With a short cruise port stop in Boston, we didn’t want to spend a ton of time traveling from one place to the next. So we took an Uber to Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market and explored from there. The history in Boston is just great. We visited at the beginning of Oct and it was absolutely perfect weather. Checked out the Old North Church, where the original lamps were hung to notify that the British were coming by sea. Grabbed a delicious cannoli at Mike’s Pastry. The line out the door down the sidewalk led me to believe it was a good place 😉 The Holocaust Muesum was incredible. To read the quotes of survivors, to see all the numbers representing all of the lives lost, and reading the stats was surreal. Insane to think that horrific action is a part of world history - may we always learn from history. Walked some of the Freedom Trail, which connects 16 different historical sites significant to the American Revolution. Went by St. Leonard’s Roman Catholic Church. Founded in 1873 it was the first Roman Catholic Church in NE and was built by Italian immigrants. Regina Pizza for lunch was 💯. Opening in 1926, it’s the city’s oldest pizzeria. What makes it so great? The original 100+ year old oven and the incredible recipes brought from Italy. Such a great trip and definitely didn’t get to everything I would have liked to. Looking forward to making a trip specifically to Boston for longer, in the future!
Tiktok, I can’t add anything to my TikTok shop because you banned me again because people have their hands in my account again
