@foodgressing: [Media] Broyé Café & Bakery @broyecafe has two Japanese-inspired pastries for the Metro Vancouver Croissant Crawl. The Japanese Takoyaki Croissant has takoyaki tucked inside a buttery, flaky croissant, with Japanese mayo, takoyaki sauce, aonori and bonito flakes on top. I liked the mix of sweet and savoury sauces with the croissant. The Tokyo Banana Choux-ssant Flower combines a croissant shaped like a flower with crisp choux au craquelin and Tokyo Banana cream. The banana filling was creamy without being too heavy, and I liked getting the crisp choux and flaky croissant in the same bite.
