I remember in year 5, we were given a list of names and we could highlight people we wanted to be in a cabin with. I asked my teacher if I could pick people I didn’t want to be with (because I was bullied a lot, and there was no way I could be in a cabin with any of those girls) and he said no and that I had to suck it up. I still hate him for that and many other things

I’m triggered cause I was always the girl left out by herself cause the people she always saw as her friend would write 3 other girls names down and low and behold she would get shoved in the cabin with the girls everyone wrote down as their 1 and she would spend the week being bullied by them including - have her stuff thrown out windows or locked out of the shower

My school allowed us to write 3 names and I was in a group of 4 and then a new girl joined our group right before camp and all my friends wrote her down to be in a cabin with instead of me… and that’s how I found out I was the least favourite friend in my friend group at the ripe age of 10 lol.

Happened to me. I was in a group with 3 other people the cabins held four so obviously I thought we would all write down each other and be in the same cabin, nope they ALL wrote me down as did not want. My head of house came and told me cause they didn’t put me in a cabin. THEN they put me in a cabin with I thought my old friends and the girl I knew the longest started CRYING to the head of house saying that she didn’t want me in the cabin so I had to go with randoms

In yr 5 I had a very toxic friend and so I cut her off and we had a really big fight, I didn’t talk to her etc etc, and the teachers put us in the same cabin. Somehow, we got assigned the same bunk bed. On that trip tho, I let her have my plushie for the night and we kind of unanimously agreed to not be so hostile to each other. I mean I still didn’t talk to her but it wasn’t like on sight hatred anymore. I still don’t like her she was horrible
