@jesusdailyverse1: THE TEMPTATION OF JESUS - Immediately after His baptism, Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, where He spent forty days being tempted by Satan. Hungry from fasting, Jesus faced three temptations: turning stones into bread, worshiping Satan in exchange for the kingdoms of the world, and throwing Himself from the pinnacle of the temple. Each time, Jesus answered with the Word of God: “It is written.” Satan even quoted Scripture himself, but Jesus would not test God or bow to Satan. When every temptation had ended, the devil departed from Him for a season, and angels ministered unto Him. Matthew 4:4 "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.'" Matthew 4:7 "Again, it is written, 'You shall not test the Lord your God.'" Matthew 4:10 "Get behind me, Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.'" Luke 4:13 "When the devil had completed every temptation, he departed from him until another time." Matthew 4:11"Then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and ministered to him." In the wilderness, Jesus faced temptation and answered every attack with the Word of God. He did not turn from the Father’s will, worship Satan, or test God. His answer remained: “It is written.” The temptation of Jesus reminds us of the authority and truth of God’s Word and points us to Christ, who stood firm when tempted. If you believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Word of God is true, Comment AMEN ✝️🙏 #jesuschrist #holyspirit #bible #scripture #gospel
