Years ago, my MIL once said that babies who’s parents don’t allow to get kissed by others won’t be loved… We don’t let anyone kiss our baby.. I brought that comment up recently & she swears she meant nothing by it and that their grandson will of course be loved 🙄 but that people will see him negatively later in life.. my response? “He’ll have enough love from his parents & if an adult feels any sort of negative way towards a child for not being able to kiss them, that shows a lack of maturity from the adult” ✋🏼 Woman, please.

I think staying home to long leads to ppd for sure. Being outside again trying to feel normal again feels good actually mentally. So do what makes you feel good long as the baby’s good ✨

For me it’s my MOMS dogs. They aren’t trained, they aren’t ever put away. They will jump on me, they almost ripped my babies eyes other day bc he was being bottle fed on the couch and one of them decided to try and run and jump on my babies head and we almost didn’t move the baby in time. They bark and wake him up from naps, they growl at him constantly. And then they try and compare those dogs to my cats?? My cats don’t do that.

I put socks on my baby only because I HATE people obsessing over baby feet. It weirds me out. And I’ve had people take his sock off to smell his feet . Like wtf weirdo get outta here. Now I just put him in the onesies that you can fold the fabric over and cover his feet. I’ve been outside since day 7 taking walks and going places. I think staying inside is why so many people have PPD nowadays. Get some sunshine on your face it helps !
