Was Nyxen's power transferred to Elaine through their bond? Is that how she instantly reached level 9?

Vadvirág :
I believe this episode was a little rushed. Nyxen reveals something important, that the hourglass belongs to his father. The Elaine I know would ask right away: Why, who is your father? And who are you??? Also Nyxen making a decision without Elaine…? For me this is out of character. That’s potentially character behavior being bent to accommodate the cliffhanger.

What is this? Is Beastward Academy living inside a board game? And who are the old man and the new kid at the end of the episode? Is like they are watching what is happening inside this world? I did not expect this twist!!

if what nyxen means for "terrible costs" is sacrifice, i wonder who sacrificed for elaine to be reborn or is it the OB's decision for her to be reborn so nyxen can have companion/partner.

Soooo I rewatched this episode a few times. The hourglass! Means that time can be reversed. Nyxen said it belongs to his father. I'm trying to remember in earlier episodes if an hourglass was introduced back when Nyxen's enemies were chasing him or when his father told him to escape? Does it have to do with being reborn? Could Nyxen sacrifice his bond with Elaine? I really doubt it because breaking the bond could literally kill Elaine and he wouldn't hurt her. Maybe he is sacrificing his power?

i don't think no one is going to be reborn, since Elaine evolved to level 9. I wonder if Nyxen got trapped on that orb for the king, (just like with the nine tail fox for professor Talon).🤔 Or perhaps he had to give away is "immortality" if is father was the oath binder how old was he when he died since he existed a long time...or is something passed along generations?

I wonder if the terrible price is they have to start from where Hilda and the familiars were still alive and make different choices so they survive? It kind of fits with the being reborn theme. Maybe everyone forgets except for Nixon.
