I cannot talk on this I got my conch and two helix’s in one session it was a 3/10 but I have a high pain tolerance just keep ibuprofen handy and try not to sleep on it

2-3/10 when pierced 3-4/10 when jewelry put in. no crunch noise for me. no pain/throbbing yet, day 5. i got a double helix and it didn’t hurt enough to tap out after the first. Also first cartilage piercing and was superrrr nervous but it’s not bad and swag foreva!!!

The piercing itself isn’t terrible, the healing process is what sucks. If you bump that thing afterwards, you WILL see the Lord.

I got mine last week cleaning with antibacterial soap and salt water 2 times a day, sleeping on it , and it doesnt hurt at all

No it doesn’t I got mine done last year and it was just a pinch but the healing process is like hell and when you try to sleep on the side of the helix is hell you can’t even sleep on that side anymore

Piercing pain was like a 3/10 for me but its the AFTER that gets you 😭😭😭 don’t hit that thing on ANYTHING

The piercing itself is fine, I would say people with longer hair or wear it down a lot will have a rough healing process because it gets caught a lot. My glasses bump it sometimes too :/

I have my double helix done. Got it done a week ago. Love it. The piercing itself did not hurt getting it done. Just was very sore afterwards and kinda warm feeling. But as long as you DO NOT touch it and make sure you clean it 2 times a day you should be all good to go. Remember everyone’s pain tolerance is different just cuz it didn’t hurt for me doesn’t mean it won’t for you. Just depends on you and your tolerance. Hope this helps

definitely not painful for me. they heal well if you use a piercing pillow. it does take about a year to heal though.

I have a 11 pericings and I would say my helix was prob my 2nd most painful 😭 I have an industrial and it didn’t hurt at all but my helix was like a 5/10
