@saltsugarandstories: Mrs. Torchy, I don’t have words big enough for a loss like this. I just want you to know how deeply you are loved and how many people are lifting you and your family up in prayer right now. There is something that feels so terribly out of order about a mama having to say goodbye to her child. We expect our children to outlive us, and when that order is broken, I don’t think there are words on this earth that can make sense of it. So this evening, I’m opening my little devotional and read a little word especially for you. I pray that somewhere in the middle of this unimaginable grief, God gives you the strength you need for the next minute, the next hour, and the next day. We may not understand the why, but He does. And when our hearts cannot make sense of loss, our greatest hope is knowing that this goodbye is not forever. 🤍 Mrs. Torchy, I love you.
