He's so sub here (😏) even if he has his plan he is giving into exactly what Hannibal wants for him he is changing. so much of the season(s) I actually think Will doesn't "switch" as much as everyone says he does. it's why he has to do what he does in the final ep of the show. the amount of vulnerability in this scene... I mean, wills just been through something awful and completely new to him, and he just lets Hannibal guide him. You can see how he's a bit shakey in his expressions (though tbh he always does that), he's examining his hands with curiosity, he's nervous but acceptant of their new reality. I don't think it's possible to separate "an act for the plan" and "genuine experience and feelings", so I won't try to untangle that. But gosh, the look Will gives Hannibal with the little smile, and the slow blinked subtle nod that Hannibal gives back... such true understanding, regardless of the plan. Will just gives up control, and lets Hannibal pull him into this new world, in a weird peaceful conclusion to his recent fight
