WARNING! Please ignore this video. For your safety always follow the car manufacturers tyre size and inflation guidance. This video gives dangerous advice in parts [Astonished]

This whole video doesn't make sense because he said 10% -15% the math doesn't add up . He said the 51 psi max should be at 38-42 psi you do the math it's 17% - 24% . I am confused

I always run 40 psi in 10 years of taxi driving in 4 different cars, diesels and hybrid. my tyres never wear out unevenly. car feels lighter and quicker. never had any issue or too many punctures. maybe 4 punctures in 13 years.

My Lincoln tire sticker says 39psi at max load. I ride empty usually, so I pressure them at 42psi cold. The Michellin tired are 1 year old & 7800 miles deep with almost no visible wear. I expect to get 6 years if properly rotated regardless of miles.

im not watching the whole video, in short massively depends on what tyres youre using, the weight of your car and what drive terrain it is

Warning! Following the advice in this video where it claims the car manufacturer tyre inflation guidance sticker is wrong, is incorrect and dangerous and could void your car insurance if you have been found to have a RTC with incorrectly inflated tyres [Astonished]

Dangers of Overinflating to the Sidewall LimitIf you inflate your tires to 10% to 15% below the 51 PSI maximum (around 43 to 45 PSI), you will severely overinflate them for your car's weight. This leads to:Reduced Traction: The tire balloons out, causing less rubber to touch the road, which increases braking distances and risks hydroplaning.Accelerated Wear: The center of your tire tread will wear out rapidly, forcing you to replace your tires much sooner.Harsh Ride Quality: Your vehicle will ride incredibly rough, sending every bump and pothole directly into the suspension and cabin.
