as someone who almost died in a car because of s seizure due to epilepsy I didnt know I had. I try and appreciate everyday and tell people I love them. Any day could be the last, dont leave it tomorrow

My father in law had a stroke while working construction and one of his coworkers knew the signs of a stroke and knew to call 911 immediately and saved his life 🙏❤️

Best humans ever. Had a stroke out of the blue at 40. Recovered because of a neurologist that advocated for me. That doc, infinity/10. Having a stroke? 0/10 do not recommend. 😳

I worked in care a few years ago and had just came back from sick leave and was shadowing my manager as I was going to be doing something new and we came in to give the man his lunch as he was like 90% blind (it was like looking through a straw for him) and I was looking at him and I kept saying that I think he’s having a stroke and it took her about 40 mins to listen to me. He was talking to me and making no sense at all, he seemed confused and I kept saying “we need to call an ambulance” and though she eventually called an ambulance the poor man had a massive stroke and later passed away in hospital 💔 I tortured myself for weeks cuz I knew there was something wrong and yes I coulda phoned the ambulance but my boss was having none of it so I felt super helpless at the time and I often wonder if she’d have listened to me, would he still be alive? 😔

Before Fall break, I taught my 5th graders the function and main parts of the human heart. As an extension to their learning, my students learned and wrote about the difference between a stroke and a heart attack. I love this vids very much.
