Reddington is doing trial strategy and since the investigation was ⬇️ #lindsaymusgrove #patrickclancy #trial botched from the very beginning, he honestly had no choice. That doesn’t mean the commonwealth doesn’t have to prove Lindsay did it at all. Some of you people are still getting it twisted. The commonwealth still has to prove Lindsay is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt for fucksakes. They also have to figure out if she was criminally responsible or not. It doesn’t matter what Reddington says. What he is doing is trial strategy. He couldn’t go with a third party culprit because the investigation was botched and it would switch it around. He would have to prove another person committed the crimes (instead of the commonwealth), and again the investigation was botched. And technically Reddington doesn’t have to do anything. He can just sit there.
