@aussiemammoth1: Subhanallah, may Allah forgive us all for our shortcomings. They say you never truly know someone until you travel with them or do business with them. By the blessing of Allah, I’ve travelled with Mufti Menk on a few overseas dawah trips with Light Upon Light, and all I’ve seen is goodness. I’ve seen a selfless man who gives his time and makes sacrifices for others. When a young person approaches him, or an elder comes to speak with him, he turns towards them and gives them his full attention. My brothers and sisters, you don’t realise how difficult it can be when people are pulling you from every direction. You still have a family, your own challenges and your health to look after. Yet Mufti puts those things aside to serve people and, through that service, seek the pleasure of our Creator. We remind the believers because reminders benefit them, but we remind ourselves too. May Allah preserve Mufti Menk and reward him for all he does. We always share a little fun together. I try to catch those moments when he shows us his lighter side: always laughing, with a little joke here and there. It’s a beautiful part of being in his company. Now, as we prepare to travel with Light Upon Light to Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar, may Allah bless our journey and make it a source of goodness and a witness for us on the Day of Judgment. #fypシ #themuslimundertaker #johannesburg #tiktok #fyp
