Solaris is the Only UNIX as server , I worked on Solaris 7, 8 and 9 and 10 after that Oracle spoiled the OS. Solaris is a dead OS , Linux took years to develop the same functionalities that Solaris had. Solaris handled thread as unbelievable way. No Linux will come close to Solaris performance especially running JVM

well I'm just waiting for somebody to use AI to develop the gui offer kernel so we don't need all of these constant updates and bug fixes and things instead we just have something that works that doesn't need continuously modification just to have the basic functions work and we don't need a telephone book worth of instructions just to change directory
