SIR TOM JONES HAS BEEN FIRED FROM THE VOICE AND THE FANS ARE FIGHTING TO BRING HIM BACK Stop scrolling because this is the story that has divided the entire internet and nobody can stop talking about it. Sir Tom Jones has been removed from The Voice UK after fourteen years and he did not choose to leave. He said it himself in his own words. He posted a statement on Instagram that left no room for interpretation. He said he did not want to leave. He said he loved the show and really appreciated the audience. He said ITV made this decision and that it was made a while ago and he was only told recently. And the reason he was given was financial difficulty with insurance . But then ITV turned around and told the press something completely different. They said they wanted to refresh the show. They said they wanted a new coaching line-up. They said there would be no chair for him. They offered him a much reduced role where he would make an appearance but not actually be involved from the start. And he said he was not thrilled about that. After fourteen years of loyalty after three winning seasons after being the face of the programme they wanted him to show up occasionally and smile for the cameras while someone else sat in his chair . And then he delivered the line that has stopped the entire internet. He said the only thing he knows right now is that there is never a good time to fire an eighty six year old who is still pretty good at his job . The fans are furious and they are not hiding it. A petition has been started by a fan named Aaron Howlett and it has already passed sixty three thousand signatures. People from all over the world are signing it. They are saying he is one of the last living legends and that his voice reaches so many people both young and old. They are saying that if he stops singing then he will no longer be Sir Tom. And they are demanding that ITV bring him back . And here is the part that makes it even bigger. Will i am who sat next to Tom Jones on that panel for years has publicly supported the petition. He shared it on his own Instagram. He did not stay quiet. He did not pretend it was fine. He stood with the man who shared that red chair with him and he told the world that this decision was wrong . The new line up has been announced. Cheryl and Aitch are joining Will i am and Kelly Rowland. Filming for the revamped show has already begun. But the fans are not accepting it. The comments are flooded. The petition keeps growing. And the question on everyone's lips is simple. How do you fire a legend who gave you fourteen years and three winners and the credibility that made your show worth watching in the first place . So tell me honestly in the comments. Do you think ITV made the biggest mistake of their career. Do you think they will regret firing the one coach who actually knew what he was talking about. Do you think he deserved better after fourteen years of loyalty. And if you signed the petition then tell us why. Because this is the story that everyone is talking about. This is the decision that everyone is questioning. This is the moment the fandom comes together to defend the legend who was pushed aside. If this made you angry drop a fire emoji. If you stand with Tom Jones drop a heart emoji. And if you have something to say to ITV then I will see you in the comments. #TomJones #TheVoiceUK #Fired #Legend #Shorts - @1lovelyhusband
