Ok I’ve thought abt this in the sense of like… why am I grinding so hard for work when in reality I genuinely just want to spend my future time with kids? And obviously protecting women in the sense that they should never be forced to stay home… but I have a hard time coming to terms with the idea that we should be pushing women to this ideal of working full time? And obviously having kids isn’t the only thing that someone can do in life… but sometimes it feels like the only alternative offered to that is the idea of a woman who just works?

correct. in addition to pointing out why male geniuses have insane levels of drive to create, I think it has much to do with men's ability to think abstractly and out of the box. male dominance in classical music composition, greatest artists, theoretical physics like newton and Einstein, philosophy etc were almost exclusively men throughout history. women have done well in literature which is closer to personal observation, social relations etc. also the element of male bravery, physical prowess and risk taking with all the explorers and conquerors...all this has built civilization

this is such a crock of shit all around. I worked for decades in a female dominated business. half the board was. female. all but 2 vps were female 80 to 90% of all directors, managers, and supervisors were female. I work for ,with,and supervised females. There was no patriarchy. the best person usually got the promotion.
