So I slept in bars while my parent’s band played on stage and to this day, at the big age of 41, heavy rock concerts make me fall asleep. My husband had to nudge me awake at Nine Inch Nails recently because the music was loud enough to make me sleepy.

When my son was a baby in 98 my husband & I would take him w/us to practice in Dad's band while he played the drums and he would always fall asleep in front of the drums while Dad was banging away. Thank you for sharing my husband passed away 2 yrs ago and this put a smile on my face. PS My son now plays every instrument possible from drums, flute, saxophone, electric guitar, you name it. He was also the drum major junior and senior yr. His Dad and I were so proud.

I blasted TYPE O NEGATIVE, Pantera, Metallica, Rammstein NIN and so on while pregnant. Also hubby has been in a local KC band for 24 years, loud music was the only thing that calmed my now 16 year old when she was a baby. 🎶🎶🎶
