“you still live with your parents at 24?” yeah and when i mentioned moving out into a studio apartment both my mama and stepdad said why would you move out and struggle while working and going to school? we bought this house with intent and room for all our children. finish school and get on your feet first. and they have never once made me feel like i was behind or a burden.

found out Im pregnant, then found out I got accepted into nursing school. called my mom cause I was stressed and was thinking of pushing my admission to a different semester because Im due in May or 2027. She said: just go. go for as long as you can and when you give birth, just drop the baby off so you can take care of school. you got this. the longer you wait, the longer it is to finish. Ill take care of baby while you're in school

When I would say I have to go guys my mom wants me home they would make fun of me saying “Awee she is going back to her mommy” and I said “at least my mommy loves me” (one was adopted and the other didn’t live at home) 🧍🏽♀️🧍🏽♀️

28y and got laid off from my job. My dad came directly to pick me up and both of them took me to a restaurant while i was crying because I did so much for that job. Forever grateful for my parents

My kid told me that he thinks it's weird when his friends make fun of him for choose to spend time with us instead of them. So he told me one day he got fed up and told them that it wasn't HIS problem thair THEIR parents didn't spend time with them.😭❤️

yes. but being a spoiled brat because of it, and being a genuine person because of it is two different outcomes. & two very different people. its not exactly a flex to be a spoiled brat, it is a flex to be a good, genuine person. at that point money/good parents is just bonus to who you are.

I'm 57 years old. My mother was 89 years old when she passed away 3 months ago. She was my go-to for everything. Up until she couldn't drive anymore, she used to take me to all my doctor's appointments. She was my number one supporter and I'm lost without her.
