Randle Centre has celebrated His Imperial Majesty, the Ooni of Ifẹ̀, @ooniadimulaife, on the occasion of this year’s Olojo Festival, highlighting the enduring connection between Ilé-Ifẹ̀, Yorùbá heritage and the preservation of cultural memory. The Centre recalled last year’s gesture by Kabiyesi, when a replica of the Orí Olókun from his ancestral palace was entrusted to the J. Randle Centre — a symbolic link between history, heritage and future generations. As preparations begin towards the @yorubagala next year, the Centre says it is exploring how the legacy of Orí Olókun can be further preserved, reimagined and carried into the future.
