@zaidmuhammad.official: Part Three Of #shikwa In his powerful verses, #AllamaIqbal portrays the early Muslim spirit as one of relentless movement, mission, and intellectual courage. Driven by the "wine of Tawḥīd," they crossed mountains, deserts, and the uncharted "Sea of Darkness," proving that living faith creates action, not stagnation. It represents the #philosophy of Khudi (selfhood), developing inner strength to defy worldly limits. Speaking through the voice of the Ummah, Iqbal recalls when Muslims lived the Qur'an and challenged human enslavement. Yet, he exposes a painful truth: a glorious past cannot save a stagnant present. His bold rhetorical complaint (Shikwa) asks why we lost our historic honor. The deeper answer is that faith must be actively embodied in character, not merely inherited as #History. Iqbal intensifies this Shikwa by comparing Muslims with other nations. He notes that while human imperfection exists everywhere, divine blessings seem to shower others while "lightning" strikes the Muslim world. This tension between religious identity and actual merit forces a harsh self-examination: simply belonging to a faith does not guarantee divine favor. He questions the painful paradox of spiritually unaware nations enjoying worldly prosperity while #Muslims are left with mere promises of the Hereafter. This dramatizes the tragic gap between the Ummah's self-image and its powerless reality. Using the metaphor of a desert mirage, Iqbal expresses the deep anguish of the Ummah's current humiliation and frustrated hopes. He boldly asks if endless hardship is the true reward for historical sacrifices in Allah’s name, highlighting the contradiction between divine power and worldly poverty. Finally, he laments a world now led by others while Muslims survive only on memories. If the bearers of Tawḥīd disappear, what happens to the divine message? Using the Sāqī and cup metaphor, Iqbal warns that the ultimate tragedy is not just political decline, but a community ceasing to be the living embodiment of its sacred, spiritual mission.
