@lauren.digitalsales: I know exactly what the lead-up to Christmas can feel like.. The budgeting. Constantly checking your bank account. Thinking twice about EVERYTHING. And then the guilt that comes with wanting to make Christmas special without putting yourself under even more pressure 🥹 I’ve been there. And when you add maternity pay into the mix… it can feel even harder. That was one of the main reasons I started looking for other options! So on maternity leave, I decided to start learning about digital products & Canva — things like planners, checklists, invitations, courses etc.. I was a complete beginner 😂 No experience. No clue what I was doing. But I was willing to learn! I actually started with ready-made products while I figured out how everything worked, then gradually started creating my own too 🥰 And that one decision has helped me extend my maternity leave, massively reduce my working hours AND create extra income from home alongside being a busy mum of two 🥹 It didn’t happen overnight.. But this year I’m heading into Christmas without that same pressure hanging over me… and honestly, that means more to me than I can explain 🙌 So if you’d like to see how I got started as a complete beginner, comment “XMAS” and I’ll go through it with you ❤️ Make sure to follow so we can message properly x #maternityleaveuk #ukmums #newmum #sahmuk #sidehustlesformumsuk .
