Unfortunately, at the weekend I was involved in a massive high-speed accident. A car spun directly in front of me, leaving me nowhere to go, and I was then hit by another passing car at high speed setting the car on fire too. It was an incredibly scary accident, and I’m just so thankful I managed to walk away. Thankfully, all drivers involved are okay, with only minor injuries. Unfortunately, the racing car hasn’t been so lucky. The car is completely written off, and without support, we may not be able to make the final round of the season. And that is absolutely heartbreaking. We were already pushing incredibly hard financially to keep racing, but despite that, we’ve had an incredible season — multiple race wins, podiums, pole positions and lap records. Most importantly, we currently sit 20+ points clear at the top of the championship. 🏆 To potentially lose everything we’ve worked so hard for because of an accident that was completely outside of our control is incredibly difficult to take. It’s been an emotional few days, especially knowing how much sacrifice, time and money the whole team, my supporters and I have put into getting here. I don’t want all that hard work to end now.
