for context, im pretty sure this is tutankahmuns tomb, he was a boy pharoah who died very young and was quickly succeeded by another. In egypt, people lived to die, functionally, a pharoahs whole life would really be dedicated to building their tomb. From ascension to death. Khufus pyramid took 40 something years to build, meaning they started when he was very young and finished it nearly in time for his death. Because King Tut died so young, they didnt have time to finish his tomb and had to quickly whip it up so that his consecrated remains would be properly buried. Because he was so little known, because he died so young, and because his tomb was so small, it was the only unsacked tomb we've found to date. Making it by far the most famous, which is why he is so famous as well.

it feels like magic the way we can tell thousands of years later that the guy painting would run out of ink at a certain spot and how he repeated a phrase without realizing it... I've done it myself so many times lmao

In theory, for the theology, having the images and text was a little more important than having them be super perfect, some of the cooler tombs were started early so they could have time. Tut’s tomb for instance is barely painted, sections of books that would have been 1/3 or less of the full scene sized up to fill a wall.

Uneducated people: "The pyramids are too complex and too perfect to be made by humans back then"
The humans back then: "Looks good from my house, boys! ...yeah we're definitely getting a callback for this one..."
.
In all seriousness the pyramids have construction errors, pretty bad ones in a few. One of the guys painting the prayers in one pyramid accidentally wrote the same part twice and just.... crossed it out. The early pyramids also have really fucked up base dimensions, its all cattyswampass
