Sam Raimi did something the other movies couldn't, and that was make the city itself a character

I love the first guy's hair expression. He is scared, but determined. Courage is not the absence of fear, but doing the right thing in spite of the fear. What a hero.

this is exactly why tom hollands movies are number three for me,, tom is a great spider-man but his movies are missing that key aspect of the friendly NEIGHBORHOOD spider-man. the writing just isn’t there🥲

Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man getting help from the construction workers always made me tear up. Idk why. Just those guys up there for already 14-20 hours and they stay longer to help spider man.

He’s your friendly NEIGHBORHOOD Spider-Man. Raimi got that Peter was a neighbor first. The sense of NYC as a community in his trio is unmatched

and people wonder why these movies used to feel real- it’s never been about the heroes, it’s been about the people they’re saving

а ведь первый человек паук вышел после самой страшной трагедии в США. и такие моменты с жителями действительно сильно влияли на зрителей, ведь они давали надежду что все будет хорошо, главное быть вместе и помогать друг другу.

This might sound corny but this is what superheroes are supposed to do, inspire others to have courage not wait to be saved.
