As soon as I finished my PhD in philosophy I wanted to do a BSc in quantum physics. Maths was never my strong suit, but the concepts are within my grasp. I never did it, but this information helps.

You didn't include Richard Feynman's book "QED" - he uses no math! Plus, you've gotta know Feynman if you study quantum (won a Nobel prize in QED in 1964, quite a character!)

I think it's great that people are interested in it, however I do want to emphasize (as I've seen too many "impostors" on this app) that without the math, one's understanding of quantum mechanics will always remain shallow and surface level. most of understanding QM unfortunately comes from doing and understanding the math.

Honestly why not, in an age where knowledge is often looking down on if it doesn't bring any monetary value I believe it even a duty to every human to get to learn as much as possible in any sphere possible

I love this so much! I started reading about quantum mechanics at about age 13 when my form tutor at secondary school let me in on a lunchtime away from the bullies & let me read New Scientist. He was a Physics teacher. I still love reading about quantum mechanics. I'm also a big fan of astronomy💜

I’m a big fan of PBS Spacetime and The History of the Universe channels too for this! The later especially with how they tell the story of the discovery behind these concepts to help explain what holes in our theories they’re meant to solve.

I, too, have this as one of my hobbies. we live in day and age when knowledge is basically everywhere if you want it, you'll find it. it's fun. none of us is going to teach in universities or write a book, it's a hobby and a good one

I will 100% suggest that if you're able to completely follow all the hundreds of Susskind Stanford lectures on YouTube that will very likely give a better education than most universities will.

Hello I defended my Master degree in AI and realized that coding is not for me.
