We have a no social media until 16 rule in our house. My oldest is 15 and this year has been the hardest so far because she is left out of a lot of communication. But I want to show we mean business to our 12-year-old who has ADHD and OCD because she watches what we do with her older sister. They don’t agree with our stance, but I have a feeling they will when they’re older and look back on it.

20 years from now, the same thing will happen due to AI… So much we don’t know about what it can and cannot do for us, both mentally and physically.

It’s addicting for adults also it’s definitely gotten to me & from my 1st online business & a horrible accident & into covid etc. way back though the TV & computers were a vice or outlet in a positive way to those with adhd can you please speak on that? I noticed that in the 90’s & early 2000’s with people that I knew who were but then when in front of a computer they were all attention’ focused & myself late diagnosed officially & I was the poster child born in 79 of the things I’ve heard you talk about for untreated adhd or add my juvenile years where so hard & got missed by everyone for so long & I had an entourage of psychiatrists & therapists Probation officers all the things & not until age 28 someone said to me & my mom did anyone ever tell me that I may have undiagnosed adhd & I took some more tests & yup high IQ undiagnosed ADHD the inattentive kind & I resonate with other kinds you have described as well that I was smart & organized enough to not be bouncing off the walls or in the LD class or anything but my behavior & desk was out in the hallway in 1st 2nd grade & in kindergarten my name on the board with 5 check marks. Then at age 30 something I was told 28 or 29 of the undiagnosed ADHD 30’s it was like new glasses like you said & I grieved everything that finally made sense at the time like wow it all actually made sense for the first time & after a good 8 years or so at the time getting the meds & things that worked for me I’ve still had or attracted abusers i figured that one out before it was confirmed or proven & also lots of trauma an accident & other things the last 8 years now at age 47 it’s been really hard for the last 7 years not like it was in my 30’s why is that? Do you know? Thank you 🙏🏻
