Starting September 30, Etihad Rail will officially launch its Dubai-Abu Dhabi passenger service, connecting Al Yalayis Station in Dubai with Mohammed Bin Zayed City in Abu Dhabi. The journey will take around 57 minutes, with tickets starting from just Dh39 in Comfort Class and Dh109 in Premium Class. The first train from Dubai is scheduled for 6.14am, with five round trips planned on launch day. With thousands of daily journeys potentially shifting from roads to rail, the new service could also help ease traffic between the two emirates.
