Resident Evil was good in the first 30 minutes, then it very much feels more like a comedy than horror after that point. The entire last part with the doctors is some of the worst way to make the good guys lose.

Saw resident evil. Only saw it because of who directed it. It was great. Some of the best jump scares in any movie. It was also hilarious.

Forgotten Island barely did any marketing, and the marketing they did do was lackluster and wasn’t engaging enough to capture the pre-audience.

Resident evil is PEAK horror. I highly recommend. You don't need to be a fan of the games or the old movies but even if you are, you'll still enjoy it. It's really for anyone that likes amazing cinematography and jump scares.
