You play as Sensei, an adult teacher pulled into the academy city of Kivotos after the General Student Council President vanishes. She left behind SCHALE, an extrajudicial club with authority to intervene anywhere. Your job is to help students, stabilize districts, and slowly uncover why she called you. Kivotos is a city of thousands of schools. Almost every student is a girl with a halo and a firearm. Adults are mostly robots, talking animals, or corporations. Major academies have their own cultures: Abydos (tiny, debt-ridden, desert school), Gehenna (chaos, Prefect Team vs. Problem Solver 68), Trinity (elegant, political, Tea Party), Millennium (tech, Seminar, Game Development Department), plus Valkyrie, SRT, Hyakkiyako, Shanhaijing, Red Winter, Arius, and others. Crime, school wars, Kaiser Corporation, cults, rogue AIs, and later city-scale threats fill the gaps the missing President used to hold shut. Gameplay: Build a team of 4 Strikers + 2 Specials. Missions use a hex map, then drop into real-time auto-battles on a lane. Strikers shoot, take cover, and fire EX skills you time; Specials support from off-field. Damage types (Explosive / Piercing / Mystic / Sonic) vs. armor types matter. Daily content is easy; raids and Total Assault demand investment. Gacha pulls students (3★ limited banners, 50/50-style pity). Progression is level, skills, equipment, Unique Equipment. Café, MomoTalk, and bond stories are the real hook — L2D, voice lines, relationship episodes. Story is visual-novel first. Main Story is split into Volumes focused on one school or crisis: • Vol. 1 — Abydos / Foreclosure Task Force vs. Kaiser debt • Vol. 2 — Millennium / Game Development Department and Aris • Vol. 3 — Trinity–Gehenna Eden Treaty and Arius • later volumes and Volume F escalate to Kivotos-wide war, false sanctums, and the first major ending arc Side events, group stories, and student bond stories fill the “everyday miracles” the writers emphasize: clubs, festivals, burnout, friendship, and Sensei as the one adult who actually listens. Tone starts light and chaotic, then turns surprisingly heavy without dropping the school-life core. What stuck: character writing over systems. Students are armed and dangerous and also tired, petty, lonely, or trying to be heroes. Sensei is not a silent cipher — they teach, scold, spoil, and refuse to write anyone off.
