In Kenya, most people get buried in their ancestral home and most in the village don't have a headstone. Like both of my grandmas graves now have a banana plant on it. and yes, we eat the bananas from said grave sites. they continue feeding us, even when they are gone. My dad doesn't eat the bananas from his mum's grave site though.. 😂

My Oma's mother's grave had this happen to her. My Oma immigrated to Canada in 1958 and never got to see her mother again before the wall came down. When she finally got to go visit her grave, someone's grave was on top of her's... I can't even imagine.
