Yay! I just got mine too. They tried to sell me on the Janome HD9 but the Juki was just so much more comfortable to sew on.

No shade to her but if anyone is watching this and feeling sad at the price tag, get a cast iron singer anywhere from ~1920-1960 for $250-$500 (for well maintained and working). It will get you close to this functionality (no longarm function but for a straight stitch, semi industrial speed).

Hi Kiana! such a big fan! I'm a fashion design student and I want to get a serger to use at home. Buying a brand new serger isn't really an option for me at the moment. When looking for second hand sergers or just sergers in general are there any brands you recommend that are good for all kinds of fabrics and hopefully isn't too expensive?
