I usually scroll on these, but I had a feeling I needed to watch and this is very specific. Today is my dad’s birthday, but I went no contact a few months ago. Very unsure of how to proceed with my relationship with him. I’ve been told he’s had plenty of bad things to say about me and my spouse. I unblocked him and told him happy birthday, but am feeling super anxious having him unblocked because if he says something cruel, it will derail my day. He also has court today to determine if he will go to prison, so I feel guilty.
