@wanderingwards26: We only planned to be out for a few hours… 😂🇦🇺 Public holiday today meant getting the gang together and heading to Scarborough for a coastal walk. About 8km later and I honestly couldn’t believe how well all the kids did 🥹 Ages 3–13 and every single one of them walked it without complaining. So bloody proud of them. 🤍 We grabbed some lunch afterwards and fully intended on heading home… but apparently we’re incapable of doing that 😂 We’d heard about the baby whale that had washed up at City Beach and the sharks that had been spotted around it, so we headed down for a look — definitely not something we expected to be doing when we left the house that morning! And somehow our “few hours out” ended with us down at Floreat Beach watching the sunset. 🌅 These are honestly becoming some of my favourite days here. No massive plan, just heading out with friends and seeing where the day takes us. 8km walked, tired kids, another bit of Perth explored and home after sunset. 🤍🇦🇺 I think we’re getting quite good at turning “we’ll only be a few hours” into an entire day 😂 #WesternAustralia #perth #citybeach #hilarys #scarbrough
