@firepunk: DO NOT Install a Throttle Cable on a Full Manual Valve Body ⚙️ If you’re running a Firepunk Full Manual Valve Body (FMVB), trying to hook up your factory throttle valve (TV) cable or linkage is completely unnecessary. On a standard automatic transmission, the TV cable dynamically regulates hydraulic line pressure based on pedal position. On our FMVBs, hydraulic line pressure is already internally pinned and set to maximum output. Why We Cut the TV Shaft on FMVBs 🛠️ - Pinned Internal Line Pressure: Line pressure is internally locked at full pressure across all gears, removing the need for mechanical throttle-driven pressure regulation. - Preventing Installation Errors: We physically shear off the TV shaft extension before shipping to ensure no one accidentally installs a factory TV lever and binds the shift mechanism. - 100% Max Clamping Force: Keeping line pressure pinned guarantees your internal clutch packs receive full hydraulic clamping force whether you're idling in the pits or flat-out down the track. - Simplified Cable Routing: Eliminating the TV cable clean up engine bay clutter and removes tedious cable adjustment hassles during manifold or injection pump swaps. - Complete Manual Control: FMVB puts full gear selection in your hands without hydraulic interference, delays, or automatic downshifts. 👇 Shop Firepunk Valve Bodies or upgrade your hydraulic setup today: Link in Bio!
