My mom Always said children are "borrowed" from the Lord because He can ask for them back at any time. I never was Blessed to have children or the means to adopt.

You are called to forgive but you do not have to grant any further access to you. That person knew those words would injure you at your core and that shows their true character. Forgive bc that's for you but grant them no further access to you.

I wasn’t adopted but I did have a step dad. My father has been in prison my whole life. My half brother threw it in my face MULTIPLE times when I would call him “Dad”, that he was not my dad.
