HYMN FOR THE FEAST OF THE HOLY ARCHANGELS (SEPTEMBER 29) | SAINTS MICHAEL, GABRIEL, AND RAPHAEL, MESSENGERS OF GOD The Church celebrates the Feast of Saints Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael, the Archangels. These three archangels are especially honored in Sacred Scripture and have been venerated by the Church as powerful witnesses to God's glory and servants of His saving plan. Each archangel reveals a different aspect of God's mission. Saint Michael is presented in Scripture as a defender against the forces of evil. His name, “Who is like God?”, expresses a profound truth: no power can compare with God. His example reminds us that the Christian life requires courage in resisting evil and remaining faithful to what is good and true. Saint Gabriel is the messenger who announced God's plan to Mary. Through him, Mary received the message that she would become the Mother of the Savior. Gabriel reminds us that God's Word calls for a response. Like Mary, we are invited to listen, trust, and say yes to God's will. Saint Raphael appears in the Book of Tobit as a companion and guide to Tobias and as an instrument of God's healing. His name is associated with God's healing. He reminds us that God accompanies us on our journeys and cares for those who are suffering and in need of healing. Although Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael have different missions, they have one essential purpose: they serve God and carry out His will. This is an important lesson for us. The angels do not draw attention to themselves. Their mission is always directed toward God. They remind us that our own gifts, talents, positions, and responsibilities should likewise lead others toward the Lord. We may not be archangels, but we are also called to be messengers and servants of God. Parents can be messengers of God's love to their children. Teachers can become messengers of truth and wisdom. Priests can proclaim the Gospel and celebrate the Sacraments. Young people can witness to Christ among their friends. Every Christian can bring encouragement, forgiveness, compassion, and hope to someone who needs it. On this feast, let us also remember that the angels are not objects of worship. We worship God alone. We honor the angels because they are His faithful servants and because their example points us toward the greatness of the Creator. May Saint Michael strengthen us in our struggle against evil. May Saint Gabriel teach us to listen to God's Word and respond with faith. May Saint Raphael accompany those who are journeying, suffering, or seeking healing. And may all the angels and saints help us remain faithful to Christ until the day when we join them in praising God eternally. Saint Michael the Archangel, pray for us. Saint Gabriel the Archangel, pray for us. Saint Raphael the Archangel, pray for us. Holy Archangels, faithful servants of God, guide us, protect us, and lead us ever closer to Christ. #archangels #stmichael #stgabriel #straphael #feast #september29 #catholic #feastday #churchfeast #catholicfeast #Prayer #catholichymn #catholicfaith #catholicchurch #hymn #song #music #musica #CatholicSaint #fyp #Viral #fypシ #fypシ゚viral #fyppppppppppppppppppppppp #Trending #Tiktok #foryou #foryoupage
