These shops need to become a common thing. Once again we need to tear down constantly supporting these big box stores. We need to go back to the community. Because that is what will keep us going.

In the 60s and 70s in Nova Scotia... There were co-op grocery stores all over the place. A very viable place to shop back then.

Every town should do this. I saw a video where a bunch of people pooled their money to buy in bulk and were able to get food at more than 50% cheaper.

Digby groceries are outrageously priced. No competition or regulation of price gouging. I don’t know how the locals can afford to eat with the very low local wages.
